Hemorrhoids are swollen veins i the lower rectum or anus that can cause discomfort, itching, bleeding, and irritation. They are extremely common and can affect people of all ages with more than 50% affected by hemorroids by age 50
Types:
- Internal Hemorrhoids (inside the rectum)
- External Hemorrhoids (under the skin around the anus)

- Rectal bleeding

- Prolapse (tissue comes out of anus) during bowel movements
